This is a multiple choice fact family assessment for numbers up to 20. The majority of the questions require a bit more higher order thinking. The first six questions of the assessment ask for the missing number sentence to complete a fact family, the next six questions ask which number sentence is NOT part of a specific fact family and the last six questions are based on word problems.
In addition, the assessment has several problems where the equal sign is placed in front which gives the teacher a clear idea of the students who have an understanding of equal. (12 = 7 + 5)
*** These assessment questions were taken directly and are the same questions from my Fact Family Task Cards. Except this can be used easily for grading purposes whereas the task cards could be used for small group or " Scoot" games ***
