Provide your students with their own personal Basic Facts Timed Test Chart so they can track their own progress throughout the year! When they can personally interact and color in the bar graphs they'll visually see the progress they're making and work that much harder to pass the tests. Students will be excited to share their Timed Test Chart at parent conferences, too!
I've used the individual student Basic Fact Timed Test Charts in my classroom for the past three years. My students are much more aware of their own personal math goals than they have been in past years. They work a lot harder to meet their targets because they're interacting with them more often. It's been rewarding to see their excitement when they've achieved their goals.
