Students will work in cooperative groups to complete a variety of tasks requiring them to use knowledge of fact and opinion in real world decision making. They will evaluate actual high school club descriptions to identify facts and opinions and make choices for which to join. Next, they will evaluate two college descriptions analyzing again for fact and opinion and then making a selection between the two. Finally, they will end with evaluating actual descriptions of cars for sale to select the one they wish to purchase.
