This is double craftivity. The craft templates(plate and cup) are two different sizes – the bigger ones are better for the fact and opinion craft and the smaller ones are better to attach to the adjective writing craft.
Fact and Opinion Craftivity Directions:
Students need to identify the five facts and five opinions on the cookies. Glue the facts inside the milk glass. Glue the opinions on the page. Design and color the templates. Put them on a long construction paper with the included title on top.
Cookie-licious Adjectives Writing and Craft:
Give students any type of real cookie. Have them work together, separately, or as a whole class, to come up with adjectives for the five senses that describe their cookie. They should list these words in their graphic organizer. After, they should write a descriptive writing piece using all those adjectives and painting us a picture in our mind of the cookie. I’ve included regular sized writing paper and also a template that is only on half the sheet of paper for younger kids or for differentiation on the amount of writing.
After writing, they take the blank cookies and write some of the adjectives they wrote in their writing on the cookies. Then, use the glass template or the plate template to glue the cookies on. Attach the craft to their writing.
