Students will read statements about football and they will determine whether each statement is a fact or an opinion.
This engaging activity puts a fun spin on identifying facts and opinions! It also makes a creative bulletin board or school hallway display! It can even be used as a valuable addition to your students' interactive notebooks!
Students read the statement on each football to determine if it is stating a fact or an opinion. Then they color the footballs, cut them out, and place each football in the appropriate goal post.
Student-friendly directions are included so that you can place the directions under your document camera, and students can refer to them as they complete the project. (An answer key is included, as well as blank footballs for teachers who want their students to write their own fact and opinion statements.)
