In this sort, students will read cards about Long Haul, LeBron James, tornadoes, and McDonald's. Students will decide if the card they read is a fact or an opinion. Students will then place the card in the envelope with the corresponding picture. I taped two envelopes together, and then I glues a picture on the front. One envelope was for the facts, the other for the opinions. Pictures are included to show you what the envelopes looks like.
My students enjoyed this activity during reading centers. Students were interested in the topics, so they found the facts and opinions entertaining.
