Here are seven different activities to help students practice identifying facts and opinions! The activities included are:
1. Fact & Opinion Sort
2. Fact & Opinion KABOOM!
3. Fact & Opinion Match
4. Fact & Opinion Pictures
5. Fact & Opinion Scavenger Hunt
6. The Facts and My Opinion
7. Searching for the Facts
For each activity, I made a Teacher Notes page where I identified any materials you need for the activity, as well as any information I think may be helpful to you!
In addition, I included a Fact and Opinion Learning Contract cover in the event you would like to do the activities in a learning contract structure. With the contract cover, I added another Teacher Notes page that shares how the learning contract structure could be set up in your classroom.
Some of the activities have more than one direction sheet to accommodate two different ways of doing the activity, which would be teacher preference!
If you buy the product, you are welcome to send me an email, and I'll be happy to forward you the 34-page document in Word format if you prefer that over PDF! (email@example.com)
The students really enjoy these activities, and they offer a more engaging approach to practice this skill compared to traditional worksheets!! :-)
