If you're teaching your littles to identify, create, and discuss facts and opinions this holiday season, this packet has everything you'll need! In this packet, you’ll find all sorts of resources for your kiddos to use to practice identifying facts and opinions in non-fiction texts.
There are two posters, one to define fact and one to define opinion. The packet includes 4 different graphic organizers: a winter holiday themed one, a winter holiday themed one with extra space for more facts and opinions, a generic fact and opinion organizer, and a generic organizer with more space. These organizers can be used to identify facts and opinions for any kind of text you might be using!
There are also 16 task cards, 8 with facts and 8 with opinions, as well as a recording sheet for the cards. It also includes 6 writing prompt cards to get your kiddos thinking and writing. You can even use these cards to start class discussions and encourage your students to share their thoughts in a safe place.
Whatever parts are most important for YOUR little learners to master this holiday season, it's a "fact" that these are a few little resources to help them along in the right direction! ;)
Enjoy and happy teaching!
