Need some quick fact and opinion review? These three fact and opinion quizzes (part of my Test Review Quizzes Bundle
) cover the difference between facts and opinions, identifying fact and opinion in reading, and supporting opinions with facts. These activities are also great as practice worksheets.
Page one has a space at the top to review the difference between fact and opinion, and then it provides 16 example sentences for students to identify.
Page two contains a half-page reading passage (filled with both facts and opinions) and six questions asking students to identify fact and opinion statements, support an opinion with a fact, and recognize opinion words.
Page three asks students to locate opinion statements and support them with facts. Finally, students have the chance to write an about an animal and provide supporting facts.
My students ALWAYS need more practice with fact and opinion, especially in preparation for their end-of-year reading test! These fact and opinion activities reinforce key skills with example sentences full of fun animal facts.
