Reviewing fact and opinion? Looking for a new way to reinforce these concepts with your students? This seven-station activity is for you!
In this activity, seven stations are presented to review various questions related to identifying, understanding, and utilizing facts and opinions. When placed throughout the room, this activity allows students to move about while learning (which is highly beneficial for high-energy middle grade students).
Station activities include:
- Brief texts in which students identify statements of fact and opinion
- Prompts in which students write their own statements of fact and opinion
- A question in which students reflect upon how facts and/or opinions might be used in a class election

-Two-sided student answer document
-Station directions compiled onto a single two-sided page (for students who, for whatever reason, cannot move from station to station).
-Ink-saver (border-free) version
