What is a light box?
A light box is a fun marquee-style box that lights up through a USB cord or batteries. You can use it in your classroom (or your home). It can be used to display special announcements, holidays, and cheerful sayings in general. Or you could use it for sight words or as in this case- fact of the day! My students write the fact of the day on everything they do during class that day. It is written at the top of their paper beside their name. I also call out "Stop--Fact Time!" and they write the fact as many times as they can on whatever surface I choose (whiteboards, the back of their paper, their desk, etc.). It is a fun way to reinforce those tricky multiplication facts!
What is included?
- Directions for printing
-3 printable design pages (one title page, 4 facts)
You will need to print these on Velum paper or transparency sheets depending on your printer. (I bought mine from Amazon). If you are using an inkjet printer, make sure to purchase velum paper that works with inkjet printers. You can also take them to your local office supply store and have them printed in color on transparencies. You need to tell them to print them in “actual size.”
