This is a quick, fall themed look at fact and opinion. Several activities help students see the difference between a fact and an opinion. All of the activities are based on fall themes like Halloween and Thanksgiving.
Students are asked to identify facts in one activity. Another asks them to identify opinions. They are then asked to “prove” that something is a fact by going back into the text and re-reading. Finally, they change four facts to opinions by re-writing them.
There are five student pages. Each has an answer key.
