This is a BINGO-based activity for students to practice factoring difference of squares. This activity will help students increase their speed in recognizing and factoring this pattern. Some of the expressions also include a GCF.
Not only will students practice factoring, but they will work in groups of 2-3 students, be physically active and move around the room. The students will be able to have fun while learning.
When I used this in my own classroom, I was hesitant to ask my students to be physically active as I thought they would not willingly participate. I was pleasantly surprised at how much my students enjoyed the activity and have continued to request to do an activity like this again.
-Student BINGO page
-Answer sheet to be cut up and used as BINGO markers
-Optional way to play to get your students to be physically active as studies have shown this increases student learning and retention (and fun!)
