Product Description

These Valentine Hearts add some seasonal fun to your algebra classroom! Students will be factoring quadratic expressions where A=1, A is prime, and expressions that have common factors. There are three different ways you can use these Valentine Hearts cards...

Matching Game: Only print the hearts that have the answers on the bottom. Cut the tops of the hearts off along to dotted lines and have the students put them back together! 32 different matches.

Task Cards: Print the hearts with the blank answer space. Give out the 32 cards randomly to pairs, groups, or whole class to graph. Laminate them and have students use dry erase markers to reuse over and over again!

Décor: Have students factor and then cut out the hearts to put around your classroom for some Valentine decoration! You can hole punch the top to string as garland around your whiteboard, windows, etc.

*You can also give the worksheet at the end of this file for additional practice. Just print and give for homework, extra credit, after test activity, etc...
