Factoring Quadratics: Differentiated Circuits
There are three circuits (or loops, or scavenger hunts) in this document. Each circuit has eight (8) quadratic expressions to be factored. In the first loop “a” is greater than 1 but it is prime. In the second loop “a” is equal to 1. In the third loop “a” is greater than 1 but not prime.
My students enjoy circuits. I post the problems in the hallway which gives students opportunity to move about. They enjoy activities that get them out of their seats. I often allow them to work with a partner on circuit activities – I like to encourage “talking math”!
An answer key is included.
