Factoring Trinomials Magic Square: 2 Puzzles Included!
Magic Squares are square grids with a special arrangement of numbers in them. These numbers are special because every row and column adds up to the same number.
In this activity, students select the best answer for each of the terms in the Trinomials column from the lettered items in the Factored Form column. They put the number in the corresponding square in the magic square. When complete, they add each row, and add each column. If these sums are the same number, then they have found the magic number and matched the correct trinomials with their factored forms. A great alternative to a traditional worksheet!
