This is a set of 3 practice pages for Factoring Trinomials.
The first page is a double-sided practice and is great for the beginner as students are to either factor a trinomial or multiply two binomials together to get a trinomial. This worksheet reinforces the fact that the two operations are just opposites of each other. Most trinomials are basic with a = 1 such as m^2 + 7m + 12, some are perfect square trinomials (x^2 + 14x + 49), on one question a does not equal 1, but there is only one possible solution and the signs are both pluses. The last question gives the student a binomial times a trinomial just to stretch their thinking a bit (and for fun!). 13 questions
Also included is another worksheet with 10 trinomials that need to be factored. 3 of the trinomials have a > 1 but "a" is prime and so is "c". Key included.
