In this worksheet, students will practice solving quadratics in a fun Sudoku puzzle. The students can solve each problem by factoring, graphing, or the quadratic formula.
The student directions on the puzzle state: Solve each equation and place the positive, integer solution in the indicated row and column of the puzzle. When finished, solve the remaining Sudoku puzzle. Remember, each row, each column, and each 3x3 square should have the numbers 1 – 9, with no repetition.
Note: Only use the positive, integer solution in the puzzle.
Encourage students to show their work and to record both answers, if two solutions exist. An answer key is included for easing grading!
