Do your fourth or fifth graders struggle to keep factors and multiples straight? Need a little more work on identifying prime and composite numbers. These are important vocabulary words in fourth and fifth grade math class and it always seems like kids need a little more practice with them.
This math center was created to meet the needs of my fourth and fifth grade students. We use it during our unit on factors, multiples, prime and composite numbers and then pull it out again as the year progresses and we need to review these important skills before building upon them in other units.
Once you print everything you need and laminate or slip the game boards into sheet protectors, you will have a math center that is ready to go, that kids can check their own work at and that you can pull out as necessary as the year progresses.
Each card is identified as one star or two stars based on how challenging it is to find the factors for that particular number. This allows me to help kids self select problems that are just right for them. The cards include all numbers from 1-80.
