★ ★ ★ How the Unit Works
★ ★ ★
Each math lesson in this unit is an interactive powerpoint slideshow. You don't need to start from scratch or reinvent the wheel every day. Just start the slideshow and teach!
Each lesson is very clear and targeted - you can easily fit the lessons in to whatever you are currently teaching.
These lessons actually teach mathematical concepts and procedures to students.
The lessons also contain embedded questions and answers that you can use to assess your students' learning as the lesson progresses.
Each lesson concludes with a "notes" slide that reviews everything that was just taught. Students can copy the notes into their math notebooks, or you can use it as review before unit tests or the yearly assessments.
I have included a PDF version of the unit. This way, you can easily print the math unit. Use it as a teacher's guide along with the powerpoint unit. You can also use the printed PDF on a doc cam if your classroom doesn't have technology to project the presentation from your computer.
The included unit test measures what students have learned during the unit. A complete answer key is included.
