Factors and Multiples (and Squares and Primes) Mystery Activity!
This pack contains three activities to help students gain familiarity with factors, multiples and other related terms such as primes, square roots, common multiples. In each task they must use the clue cards to calculate the missing numbers in the grid.
The number next to 4 is a factor of the number below 8;
The number in the top left is a multiple of the number in the top right;
There are three different versions of this task:
Grid 1: Factors, Multiples, Primes and Square Numbers
Grid 2: Factors, Multiples, Cube numbers & prime factors
Grid 3: Larger grid, more difficult clues,
requires more logic.
As an extension, students could make up their own mystery activity on factors & multiples.
This activity is good for homework as it is easy to check students have answered all the questions correctly at a glance.
