My grade level partners and I have used this scavenger hunt repeatedly with our classes. They love using QR codes, and we repeat the activity to try to decrease our completion time and increase our accuracy. These activities lend themselves well to differentiation, as teachers are able to scaffold and provide extra support as needed depending on the skill level of their students.
The objective of these activities is to have students know and be able to identify factors of a given whole number, determine multiples of whole numbers, and understand the difference between prime and composite numbers.
This product includes the following:
- a QR scavenger hunt, including recording sheet and answer key
- a Scoot game, including recording sheet and answer key
- ideas for supplemental/differentiated activities
