With this activity, students will completely factor polynomials (using any method of their choice, up to the 4th degree) and then choose the answer that contains the correct zeroes. Then, they will color the number of the problem with the color given for their answer to reveal a beautiful, colorful mandala! Even unmotivated students enjoy coloring, so this activity is a great way to get even the most challenging students engaged in practicing their skills. This activity is great for sub plans, enrichment, skills reinforcement, or just plain fun! In addition, the final products make fabulous classroom decor--it's a win/win for everyone!
