This common core literacy and writing activity includes two pages of readings, including job descriptions for both slaves and factory workers. After the readings students use excerpts as evidence to support their descriptions, interpret primary source quotes and draw comparisons. Students evaluate meaning and visually summarize their comparisons. Teachers can assign one activity page or both. This works great for further processing at home!
