I use this activity as the first introduction to our Fahrenheit 451 novel study. Students complete the activity individually and then we end up in an Agree vs Disagree debate. I place Agree at one end of the room and Disagree at the other, and students line the room based on where they fit. It gets students moving and engaged, gives relevancy and currency to the reading, and introduced them to some of the topics we will discuss through reading the novel.
