Fahrenheit 451 Bundle saves you almost 15% instead of buying each item individually!
These Fahrenheit 451 quizzes are broken down into the three sections of the book. "Part One: The Hearth and the Salamander" has 3 quizzes. Two quizzes are the same 20 multiple choice questions, but the answers have been mixed up in case you need to deter cheaters. The third quiz has the same questions, but the answer choices have been taken away so that it can be used as a more challenging quiz or as a reading guide. "Part Two: The Sieve and the Sand" has 15 questions set up exactly the same way as the first quiz with the 3 variations. "Part Three: Burning Bright" has 20 questions set up the same way as well with 3 variations. The questions on the quizzes are in order of the plot, which means you can break the quizzes into smaller quizzes if you prefer. You may have them read to certain breaks in the book, and you can match the quizzes to those page breaks.
All answer keys are included. An editable PowerPoint is included as well in case you wish to change anything.
Fahrenheit 451 review activities has task card and game options with 70 questions about the novel. There are options for individual, group, and whole class review. Choose which one best fits your class. Different classes need different things, so you might choose one option for first period and another for second. No problem - it's up to you! Answers are included.
This test has the following types of questions: 20 multiple choice, 15 true/false, 7 identify quotes in multiple choice format, 2 short answer, and 1 short essay. Each question counts two points each, except for the short answer (3 points each) and the short essay (10 points).
There are 2 different versions – same test, but the answer choices for the multiple choice and the true/false questions are rearranged so that the answers are all different between the two tests. Cheaters don’t stand a chance!
If you want to use Scantron-style scoring sheets, the test is set up to accommodate that. Students will just need to write their answers to 43-45 (short answser and essay) on a sheet of paper for you to score the written portion, but the scanner can score 1-42. Be sure to remind students that A = True and B = False when using a bubble sheet.
This test also comes with an editable PowerPoint if you wish to change any questions. If you do not want to have any short answer or essay questions, you can erase those off of the PowerPoint, save as a PDF file, and print.
Fahrenheit 451 Lap Book Project is a great way to keep students engaged while reading the novel. This lesson has detailed instructions with pictures to show you and your students exactly what to do to make a fabulous lap book to show off the information students have gleaned from the novel. Students will include vocabulary, characterization, text-based evidence, figurative language, significant quotes, and symbols with explanations in this project while being creative and designing something hands-on. There is a student check list and a teacher rubric. Both of these documents are inlcuded in an editable PowerPoint if you wish to change the requirements or how it is graded. Finally, there are some vocabulary options for the unfamiliar words students collected while reading the book. These options give students further practice learning unfamiliar words.
