Included are 3 tests over the novel, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. These tests are perfect for lit circle groups or to assess a whole class to monitor the students' comprehension each week. The tests start our fairly simple then continually get more complex as the story develops.
Each test is worth 20 points and is comprised of two different sections. The first half of the test is recall of facts from the story. The students will recall this information by answering short answer questions for the first two tests. The final test require the students to provide a summary and key details over the section they read.
The second half of every test includes higher order thinking skill short essay questions. These will require the student to make inferences about what they read and support their claims using evidence from the story.
