“Fair Share or Equal Parts #2” is an activity package for kindergarten – 1st grade. The kids seem to love the first set I posted, so I’ve made more. Plus, I know that there are still teachers who are afforded color copies to print. So, I’ve included more color copies with corresponding blacklines. All are minimal preparation worksheets (just copy) designed to supplement your lesson about equal parts or fair sharing.
There are a total of 25 different worksheets. Eleven of the worksheets are cut-n-paste for the learner to manipulate. There are 52 task cards that are designed for extra practice. The task cards have an answer key included to copy on back of task cards but not necessarily needed. This is because showing a portion can be seen from different perspectives. The way one would cut something in half may be totally different for another learner. The task cards include some that are write-on and wipe-off and some designed to be used with manipulatives. There are three work mats in color and as blacklines. Finally, some of the worksheets will work well as assessments. All of the printables are a fantastic way for the young learners to problem solve by using experiences to share various food items and object into equal and unequal parts.
