This sweet game is a great way to teach color and shape sorting to preschoolers and tots! I designed the game to be played in two ways, sorting by color or sorting by shape. Either way, there are 3 matching pieces for each mushroom, without any duplicates. So have your little one sort them all by color, then clear the board and sort again with a new challenge. This game is also easy to customize. Provide one matching piece for each toadstool to younger players, then up the difficulty with more pieces as they become more practiced. Both ways are perfect for color and shape recognition, sorting skill, and fine motor skills.
The sweet colors and adorable fairies make this a fun game for little ones! Game contains small pieces (they are fairies, after all!), so not recommended for children under 2.
Perfect for age 2 (with help) on up!
Why it's awesome:
- Includes full color game board
- Includes 18 adorable sorting pieces!
- Promotes fine motor skills, color matching, and shape sorting
- Includes a PDF file with non-watermarked images and full instructions for putting the folder game together!
I created this game for my children with attention to detail, with the hope of making learning fun and adorable. I hope you have as much fun playing this game as we do!
