I really struggled when trying to decide which Fairy Tales to use for my Interactive Journals. But then I questioned, why should I create one for a specific title? Could there be a way of creating a versatile journal that could meet the needs of teachers and allow teachers the freedom of picking their own Fairy Tale? After thinking about it, I decided to make that my route. And sure enough, it has been created! I love Interactive Journals--it truly has changed my way of teaching. I feel like the kids are much more highly engaged in discussion and they are being led to a more Common Core approach through Interactive Journals. I also love it that the journals can be inserted directly into a notebook or created as a Lap Book. I prefer the notebook because it's very easy for me to assess and for the kids to put into their End of the Year Portfolio. Please check out the preview. I tried to put the photo samples of the journal so you can see it in action--as well as a few of the file samples. Thanks again!
