Help your students describe how a narrator's point of view influences how events are described with this fun mock trial project! Students will be so engaged throughout the entire process!
Divide students into groups of six and assign their case. Within that group of six, three will be for the prosecution and three will be for the defense.
Students will read through all of the witness statements for their case, using the graphic organizer provided to take notes.
Students will then prepare their Arguments, using the information provided from the witness statements to make their case.
The final ruling can be done as a vote from the class or from the teacher. (I like to dress up as a judge and explain my ruling!!!)
