In this packet, you will find tons of graphic organizers, attribute charts, sequencing organizers both blank and fill ins, moral of the story worksheets, class charts, poster, drafting and writing paper as well as a fiction story project.
The first few pages include class attribute charts and classroom charts. “The 5W’s of a Story,” chart and “Elements of a Fairy Tale,” chart can be used to hang up in the classroom for students to refer back to as they can use the attribute charts to help guide them and fill in during center time and use the mini posters for differentiation.
The sequencing graphic organizers can be used at your convenience. I took pictures from the “Folk and Fairy Tale Easy Readers” collection so if your school uses these books, it will be even better for students to use these organizers and use the specific pictures to guide them. You will also notice that the organizers are differentiated for you to easily group students work accordingly.
There is also a writing chart that is aligned to the reading activities I used. The first part is labeled, “Story Starters,” which is a class chart hung in the class for students to refer to when writing a story about their fairy tale fiction. Students were guided through lessons to use the graphic organizer in sections and using fairy tale characters and creating a new story. There is also prompted drafting paper to help writing, publishing paper and prompts for students to self check and reflect on student work as well as vocabulary writing sheets and word wall words.
