The Acting Pieces
Each story comes with the characters on a worksheet. The kids can color and cut out the pieces. Activity options:
Read the story and have the kids use the pieces
The kids use the pieces to retell the story with a partner
The pieces are sent home for the kids to retell the story to their family
The pieces are put in a bag and kept at a center to retell the story
The pieces can be colored and laminated by the teacher to use to tell the story
The kids can reimagine the story and use the pieces to come up with a different ending
