Fairy Tales on Trial Unit

In this unit, your students will practice both point of view and perspective as they work with different versions of NINE well-known fairytales!

You will need copies of the following stories, both the "original" and "fractured" versions. Many of the originals can be found online.

Cinderella
3 Little Pigs
3 Bears
Jack &The Beanstalk
Little Red Riding Hood
Peter Pan
Beauty &The Beast
The Little Mermaid
Rapunzel

The pack has enough for 46 roles, although you can always duplicate roles to get slightly different opinions (last year, I added an extra ugly stepsister!)

The Pack Includes:

-Sample 2 Week Lesson Plans
-chart to easily divide your students into groups
-Testimony Sheet for each character (46)
-Accountability Sheet for "jurors"
-Rubric to grade final project
-Fairytale themed Venn Diagram to compare versions of the stories or characters' points of view

I hope you and your students have as much fun with this as we have!

Check out these alternate versions of the fairytales: Seriously, Cinderella was SO Annoying, The TRUE story of the Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks Rocks, No Lie, I ACTED like a Beast!, No Kidding, Mermaids are a Joke, Really, Rapunzel Needed a Haircut, Trust Me, Jack's Beanstalk Stinks, and Honestly, Red Riding Hood was Rotten
