Open-ended Math Projects Bundle 2
Open-ended Math projects challenge students to come up with different solutions to problems - there is no one right answer.
In this project students design a menu for 12 fairytale characters, choosing from an array of themed foods. Each guest receives an individual check and an overall cost for the feast is calculated.
Concepts covered include: addition, subtraction and multiplication of money and budgeting. Critical thinking is required!
My class loves open-ended projects and are always asking for more. I hope you enjoy them too. There are several other types of open-ended project available in the store. If you are unfamiliar with this type of learning you may want to look at the freebie project Terrific Tortoise to see what an open-ended project looks like.
