This is a follow up to my Fake News Lesson 1. It is part of a 5 lesson sequence I am developing.

The Unit sequence will be (when complete):
Lesson 1: Is the truth important?
Lesson 2: News Vocabulary
Lesson 3: How to spot fake news.
Lesson 4: Why lie? What is “Fake News” and why would people create it? Why do people read and share it?
Lesson 5: What to do when you encounter fake news.

The other two lessons can be found...
Fake News Lesson 1: Is Truth Important?
Fake News Lesson 3: How to Spot Fake News

Or, you can simply buy the growing bundle, which will include all the lessons in a couple of months!
Fake News Growing Bundle

This lesson helps students develop fundamental vocabulary knowledge to help them understand and discuss lessons 3-5.

It includes .pdf documents of the lesson with Common Core ELA standards for grade 7, a pre and post quiz as well as a simplified version for ELL's, pass around notecards with the key vocabulary and complete definitions, examples, word analysis and connections questions, and a graphic organizer foldable for interactive notebooks.

I will continue to refine and update this lesson as I implement it with my students, so if you buy, check back for updates!
