Fall Activities: All For Fall! Syllable Sorting Cards For Kindergarten Kids: Here is a great sorting activity for your literacy centers. All For Fall! Syllable sorting cards is a fun way to engage your kiddos this fall and all around the year too! The ability to distinguish and count syllables in words is a very important skill for phonological awareness. Sorting by syllables can help your kiddos learn to count syllables more automatically. Your students will count syllables in words using either the word cards or picture cues. They will sort them by the number of syllables they hear in the words as they say them. Your stronger students can use the word cards only.

This literacy center activity contains the following:
2 sorting mats
102 word cards
42 picture cards
5 templates for your customization
