Fall Activities - Literacy Centers - Sight Word Game Boards Activities-Set 1

★ Perfect for Back to School Or Fall Activities

★ 5 Different Fall Themed Games-19 Page Download for Back To School or Fall Activities

★ This file contains 5 different Fall Activities game boards for the first 100 Dolch sight vocabulary words. I have included 6 Fall spinners. Some of the spinners have higher numbers to make the game go faster. You could also use dice.

★ Start working on sight vocabulary when you are back to school in the Fall.

Aligned to Common Core State Standards:

Phonics and Word Recognition

CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.K.3c Read common high-frequency words by sight (e.g., the, of, to, you, she, my, is, are, do, does).

Phonics and Word Recognition

CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.1.3g Recognize and read grade-appropriate irregularly spelled words.

Phonics and Word Recognition

CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.2.3f Recognize and read grade-appropriate irregularly spelled words

Phonics and Word Recognition

CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RF.3.3d Read grade-appropriate irregularly spelled words.

Gameboards are themed around:

*Back To School

*Leaves

*Hayride

*Super Heroes

*Racing

Each student will need a game piece or a button to use on the gameboard. Students spin a spinner or roll a die to see how many spaces they advance on the gameboard. If the student can read the word on the space (and use it in a sentence if you choose), the student can stay on that space. I have also provided optional recording sheets if you would like to require students to write each word they read.
