Description

Are you looking for a fun way to practice solving basic addition and subtraction word problems? This fall themed activity uses story problems up to 10 and is ideal for first graders. These task cards work well in math stations or guided math groups. QR Code cards are available for students to easily self-check their work when completed, or they can be used without them.

I have included my Problem Solving routine mini anchor chart as a freebie with this download. Help students remember the process by incorporating movement and repetition.

You will also find a Mini Word Problem Booklet in this set. Students can create open ended responses using the scenes as inspiration. Fill-in-the-blank options are also included to support early/nonwriters.

✅ 12 Colorful Fall Word Problem Cards (for centers)

✅ Recording Sheets (color & blackline)

✅ 2 Worksheet pages for homework or quizzes (using the same word problems as reinforcement)

✅ 2 Answer Keys for easy correcting

✅ QR Code Cards for self-checking

✅ Problem Solving Mini Anchor Chart
