Let's turn math practice into a beautiful Autumn art project! I love quilts. I especially love making paper quilts with my students. They make such beautiful displays on bulletin boards or walls.

In my quest to make as many different quilts as possible, I have turned to math and seasons for inspiration. This product is an Autumn themed quilt square, made for three different math levels to allow for differentiation. It includes single-digit addition, double-digit addition, and single-digit multiplication, making it ideal for first through fourth grade.
I have also added a blank quilt square, so that you may add your own information, allowing for further differentiation.
Directions: Each student will choose their own five Autumn colors to work with, which allows each quilt square to be unique, making a beautiful quilt display for your classroom. Students then choose which color goes with each sum or product, and color the quilt square according to their choices. Cut out each square and hang them up in your classroom.
Use this Quilt Square Math Art Project for a fun Autumn activity, and have your kiddos practicing their math skills!
I hope that this Quilt Square Math Art Project - Autumn Version is one that your class will enjoy as much as mine has! I will be posting more themed quilt squares as I complete them.
