Fall Barrier Activity and Craftivity for Speech and Language Development. This fall themed barrier activity, craftivity, and reinforcement activity are perfect for your speech room.
Included in this material:
Barrier Activity: 3 barrier scenes; 30 spring images (10 for each scene)
Suggested use: Print 2 of each scene. Place in sheet protectors. Print 2 pages of each of the character/image sets. Cut each image. Laminate, if desired. Place 2 students across from each other with a divider. Have students take turns giving and receiving directions. Barrier scenes can also be used for creating sentences and narratives. One black & white scene and 10 items also included for copying and use as a barrier activity or activity of your choice.
You need a white paper plate (not included). Copy/print template page on cardstock for durability, if desired. Trace templates for stem on brown paper, curling leaf on green paper, and square template on orange paper (colored paper not included). Each pumpkin will need one stem, 2 leaves, and multiple orange squares (as many as desired to fill the pumpkin/plate). Glue stem to the top back of the paper plate. Glue curling leaves on each side of the stem. Roll around a pencil to curl the leaves. Write target words or glue pictures (not included), if desired to each square. Glue squares on center of plate to fill. Copy pumpkin frames on white paper (one frame per pumpkin). Glue in the center/top of the plate.
Pumpkin Patch Snip & Stick Reinforcement:
Suggested use: Use as reinforcement after practicing any target skill. Students will cut each pumpkin
and glue around the fence after practicing a target skill.
