This fall counting emergent reader is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, special education, ELL/ESL programs, and first grade!
This fall emergent reader covers that crucial concept in beginning math: one-to-one correspondence! So, basically, this emergent reader hits two critical skills with one stone.
In our Fall Emergent Reader, you will get a repetitive fall counting story that follows the pattern "I see (number) squirrels" with a corresponding picture. We cover numbers 1-10.
We've also included cover pages for the students to write their names. There are two types of books in this pack: color and b/w. Color is great for guided reading groups, and the b/w could be easily copied for the entire class to take home. You get the best of both worlds with this reader!
Simply print, cut in half, and staple!
Each page is slightly less than a half-sheet of paper, and there are
12 pages total, including the cover page.
Here are the words covered: one scarecrow, two sunflowers, three rakes, four squirrels, five pinecones, six footballs, seven leaves, eight pumpkins, nine apples, and ten acorns.
We hope this emergent reader has your student excited about learning their numbers words and increase their fall vocabulary.
