"Fall Frog" (and "Fireman Frog") write the room activities were designed with the beginner writer in mind. These two writing activities contain the first six letters that are taught in the Jolly Phonics program, so they can be introduced early on in the school year.
Just print and laminate the letter cards, and then hide them around the classroom. Each letter card has a different picture on it, and the recording sheet has the same pictures.
Give each child a clipboard with a recording sheet and a pencil. The children hunt around the class room for the letter cards, and then write the letter beside the corresponding picture.
There are two recording sheets included with each writing activity. The first one has "dot-letters" for the children to trace, and the second sheet provides the "starting smile", so the children know where to begin forming their letters. (You can find Fireman Frog in my shop.)
