Fall Fun: Parts of Speech

This is a set of centers based off of common core standards for first grade. If you want to see an example, please download my Fall Fun Freebies. Both of them are based off this set of centers. Included in this set are:

Nouns – Poster, Noun Sort, Cut & Paste worksheets, & an assessment

Verbs – Poster, Find-a-verb, Color a Verb worksheet, & 2 assessments

Adjectives – Match describing words to pictures, Color an Adjective worksheet, & 2 assessments

Nouns/Verbs/Adjectives – Parts of Speech sort, Cut & Paste worksheets, & 2 assessments

All of the centers include 2 sets of cards for sorting and 1 or 2 assessments. I hope this allows you to use the centers a little longer and to be able to either get several grades.

Many of these activities would be useful for Kindergarten at the end of the school year for enrichment for your higher students. They would also work for 2nd grade for remediation throughout the school year or to review at the beginning of the year.
