Hang the posters around the room and allow students to start at any poster. Have your students write down the apple variety of the poster they start at in the 12 o'clock box on their apple answer sheet. They solve the problem, then move around the room looking for their solution. They continue following the same steps until they've made it back to their original apple variety poster. If they find that they are going back to the same apple variety before making it to all 12 posters they will need to go back and check their answers.
This activity allows students the opportunity to develop their skills of functions: graphing, identifying the slope and y-intercept of a line, writing a function in slope intercept form, making a table of points using the equation of a line and identifying the domain and range.
