The weather is cooling, and the leaves are starting to change colors. Fall is right around the corner. What is better than a new fall pack for your speech room? This year's kiddos are struggling more than usual in grammar, so I figured I would make up some grammar games for them. Here's 4 new, fall themed grammar games put together into one pack looking at possessive pronouns, subjective pronouns, past tense verbs, and regular/irregular plurals. Enjoy this great fall game pack!
You can use these cards as flashcards or play the game described below. Each pack can be used individually or mixed together to work on multiple grammar tasks. Students will take turns selecting cards. If you get a game card, you must complete the card correctly to keep the card. If not, you must put the card back in the pile. Wild cards may be used to make the game more interesting. If you draw the group of leaves, you have to rake more leaves after you have finished raking. You lose a turn. If you find the bag of leaves that are done being raked, you get an extra turn. The person who has the most cards at the end wins!
