Included in this pack are various activities to target categories, multiple meaning words, articulation and synonyms/antonyms. Leave comments and rate if you like it! Happy Fall season to you all.
Pages: 2-10 Print up the tree template and laminate. Then print up the sets of leaves that you want to target. Laminate and cut out. Adhere velcro on the tree branches and tree leaves. Place the leaves on the tree. As the child practices their language/sound target, they can have a leaf fall to the ground, bag, or mini tin can (found some at the Target dollar spot). Once all the leaves are off the tree the activity is completed! (There is a vocabulary cheat sheet with the definitions of the multiple meaning words). I included blank leaves in case you wanted to make it into a game. You can take off a leaf if you get your sound/language target correct. The first one to lose all their leaves is the winner!
Pages 11-12: Students can cut out the apples and glue on the tree as they practice their language/sound target. Have them write in their speech words or vocabulary to take home for practice.
Pages 13-15: Thanksgiving Turkey match up activity. Print pages and laminate. Glue the feathers to the file folder. Add velcro to the turkey and in the middle of the feathers. Students must find each of the turkey’s missing feathers by getting the correct antonym or synonym.
Page 16: Students can color the turkey, write in vocabulary or speech words, or list 5 things they are thankful for!
Page 17: This activity is just like the trees with leaves. Follow the directions for pages 2-10. Use the apple tree for articulation or language. As each student completes their speech or language task, you can add or take away an apple. Once the tree is filled or all the apples are picked, you can move onto a different activity or the students can earn a reward (game, stickers, etc.)
