This simple art lesson can blend with so so many other topics! Thanksgiving, Autumn (or all the seasons), Color Relationships, Biology and more!
The lesson includes a handy printable template that can be copied for your whole class. This lesson can be for many age groups. The template has very simple shapes, but can be elevated for older elementary and middle school aged students with further direction.
I had my 3rd grade daughter do a larger version of the template and that may be tough for the little hands, a smaller version may help with hand cramps :)
Colored Pencils or markers
This project is lovely when displayed on a wall all together! The uniqueness of each students work make the project even better! This is a great project for Early Finishers too!
Try it out with the kids over Thanksgiving break who need some screen-free time!
