Product Description
This digraph game helps students determine recognize words with digraphs, and which digraph is in a given word. The digraphs that are used in this item are: Ch, Sh, Th, and Wh.

This game is included in my money saving 5 digraph activity bundle as well as my DIGRAPH MEGA BUNDLE

This game includes:
- Game directions
- Game mat
- 90 different game cards + 12 wild card game cards

Idea of this activity:

2-4 people can play at a time

1. Place the leaf pile game mat in the middle of all the players.

2. Shuffle all cards.

3. Place all cards in a pile with the leaf side up in a pile in the middle.

4. Player one draws a card, and says the word on the card as well as what it’s digraph is (ch, sh, th, wh). If they are unsure what the word is, there is a hint on the back of the card to help them.

5. If they say the correct word/digraph, they place the card on their leaf pile, if not they put the card back.

6. Player two, three, and four then continue to play following the same process.

7. If a player draws a wind card they place all the cards that are on their leaf pile back in the card pile. If a player draws a friend card, they pick up the number of cards that it says to. If they say the word/digraph correctly, they can add them to their leaf pile, if not they put them back.

8. Continue playing until all the cards are gone.

9. The person with the most leaves in their leaf pile, wins the game!

Teacher Prep Needed:
- Print pages 5-34 in color and double sided on thicker paper such as card stock. If you only have standard printer paper, I would recommend printing these pages single sided, and then gluing them together as the words will show through if you print double sided on this type of paper.

- Next, print out page 4, 35, and 36 in color.

- Once all the pages are printed out, I would recommend laminating for durabilty.

- Next, cut out all the items making sure to leave the border on the cards in tact. HOWEVER don’t cut out the my leaf pile page, as that will act as the “game board”.
