This patterning bundle will compliment many of your fall units and allow your students to practice continuing and creating patterns. It’s super low prep: Just print copies of the patterning cards and spinners you want to use. (I usually do 4 copies of each page for two students to share at a math station.) Then, I either mount and laminate the spinners or put them in page protectors when I’m short on time. Students use a pencil to paper clip to use the spinners. I sort the cards into small baskets for students to use at a station so it is easier to create patterns.
• There are 5 spinners that you can use to differentiate or use as the students become more comfortable with patterning as the year progresses. Patterns include: AB, AAB, ABB, AABB, ABBC, AABC, ABCD, and create your own.
• There are 12 sets of cards that compliment fall units of study: back to school, school supplies, apples, fall harvest, Columbus Day, football, spooky fun, bats, fire safety, Veterans Day, turkeys, and Thanksgiving.
